Happy New Year!
Here I am sending you good wishes for the new year in almost February; but I have been so inspired by the cold weather here in Nebraska, that I’ve been fully concentrated on making cozy bits of winter wear. We had quite an arctic couple of weeks this month with snow falling galore. It was really piled high and I was determined not to leave my house unless necessary, so there was much time for creating. I am in love with the items I’m making: hats, scarves and headbands – OH MY! I’ve been working on some art lessons with Awesome Art School and this month’s theme for the Celtic Collective Club was gnomes, so of course I was all in. I finished the last gnome lesson just today and I love these paintings much! I hope they bring you a smile.
I also painted a couple of originals. Don’t ask me where I found the time with my daughter visiting and finishing up the holiday activities. But then again, I was living my best hygge life for a couple of weeks. Here’s how I spent my cozy time, and I bet you can tell the center one is a self-portrait!
