Spring Update

Hello Friends!

For a writer (as well as an artist), I sure have gotten lax about writing regularly, and I can’t believe it’s already spring this year! The winter was different for us as my mom stayed with us during her recovery after a fall. Having her here for a few months sure quickened the time, as if it wasn’t passing so fast already!

I just wanted to pop on and share some updates. I have had my boutique/gallery space at the Painted Tree Boutiques in Lincoln, Nebraska for six months now and boy have things changed in there! I originally put all my creations in there: stickers, cards, art, books, hats, scarves, seasonal decor, jewelry, etc. and now have decided to focus more on my art than other projects so have removed items not related from my shop and am much happier with the streamlined space. My books are still there, of course, but I think it’s easier to see what I am offering for viewing and sale there. I’m still sharing new work regularly on Instagram and my Facebook business page-if you want to follow me, the links are on my contact page. I would surely thank you for any likes or shares as well!

Another streamlined route I have taken is to close my Etsy shop. I want to thank you so much if you have purchased any products from me there!

Also, this website has been revamped and updated to show artwork and links to my books. I am still contemplating producing more books in the future, so they will remain for the time being, but I find that my happiest and most fulfilling times are when I am drawing and painting. I hope you will take some time to check out the new gallery pages here on the website. I’m so happy with my current skill level and style! I’ve rewritten my welcome page and my bio if you are interested to learn more about me.

I am currently working on a large commission, am participating in a #100tinytreasures painting challenge with Leslie Stroz from YouTube on IG, am in a “Scotland, Stones, and Stories” course with Karen Campbell and Lucy Brydan, and am still a lifetime member of Awesome Art School for the occasional fun art lesson. I do love ART so!

Thanks for being here and following me! Wishing you the happiest spring with lots of light showers and pretty flowers!

Dawn
