“The Big Comic Gnome Show”

Hi Friends!

This past weekend I was able to go see “The Big Comic Gnome Show” at The Joy and Whimsy Depot in Lewisburg, Ohio, where it is on display until October 31! This was pure joy for me after spending so much time planning, praying, and painting on them. Jane and Dave showcased them really well with good lighting and placement so that as one walks through the gallery, the bright and bold colors in the paintings peek out in between the art display units. Please go see the show in person if you can, as this is the best way to see them – all hanging up at once in a large space, because they are large canvases at 3ft x 3ft each. Many thanks to Jane and Dave for their kind attention and willingness to display such funky work!

Also, as many of you know, my husband and I are in another time of transition as we work towards moving to Florida from Ohio. Our date has been pushed back from September to Mid-October, and now again to late November or early December. I choose to walk in obedience with the Lord, but this has been a trial for sure. I won’t get into all the things, but one thing that’s hard is that we packed up most of the studio so I don’t have access to my video equipment and most of my art supplies. I’m pretty much working strictly with watercolors and inks, doing some fun lessons from Awesome Art School and the Celtic Collective, when I get a bit of time.

God has given me my next assignment too, which I’m totally excited about…I’ll be opening my new shop! Stay tuned for more information in that.

In the meantime, you can still see the work I’m sharing fairly often on Instagram and Facebook and contact me there if you like.

As always, wishing you all of God’s blessings in humor, joy, and peace,

Dawn
