As a creator I like to draw and paint, but I also like to write short stories and poems, sew, crochet, knit, and occasionally carve wood. I am also a creative problem solver who really enjoys decoding a mystery. This curiosity of mine led me on a lifelong spiritual quest, which culminated back to my roots of faith where I have found Jesus to be the ultimate mystery!
My moments with Him have led me to believe what He said in the Bible-that He sends the Holy Spirit to live in believers after their salvation. What is salvation? It’s simple: believe that Jesus took on the sins of the world and died for each one of us, and rose again to live for eternity. By believing in Him, we can rejoin with God from the separation that occurred in Eden, just as His original plan intended. As I said, simple. Simple, but not necessarily easy-especially in today’s world with an overwhelming amount of skepticism. We are living in a world where SELF rules, by pride and comparison, and yet it’s also a world of anxiety, depression, and war. Just as it has been through the ages. What Jesus did was no small thing-and we are truly blessed to have access to it and Him!
God has taken me on quite the adventure over the years! I have had many mystical moments with Him that give me a hope and a future, and I hope you want to come to see what God will do for, with, and through you in your own creative journey. When we sit with Him in the quiet, creating can heal us and teach us. We also can grow closer to Him through worship in those moments. Hallelujah!
